Reproduction Mk2 VW Westmoreland "Westy" Grill Pre-Order

Mk2 “Westy” Grill - Reproduction Preorder

Help us bring back one of the Mk2 community’s most sought-after front ends. Originally only produced for US-market 1985–1986 Mk2 Golfs, these grills are hard to find nowadays in good shape.

Han Chung Classics is developing a reproduction using a NOS original Volkswagen Westmoreland grill as our reference, with the goal of faithfully recreating its shape, fit, and details. We plan to use the latest injection-molding manufacturing technology and high-quality ABS plastic to reproduce as much as possible the grille’s intricate slats, sharp corners, and finish. This does not have the chrome trim surround.

Pricing:

• Preorder: $550 — save $150 on the planned regular price
• Regular price: $700
• International shipping: approximately $100

A community-supported project:

An accurate reproduction requires a significant investment in tooling. We need 25 committed preorders to make the project viable and move forward with production. If the 25 slots are not filled and the project is cancelled, we will refund your orders.

This project is currently at the interest-gathering stage; production has not yet begun, and a delivery date has not been confirmed. Your support will help us bring this hard-to-find piece back to the Mk2 community.
